I voted!!

I tried to save America today, and voted. Of course, I wasn't registered and the old ladies and men running the place were helpful, thought some dubious about intellect. They told me what to do, who to vote for, and then one hinted that I could get a cookie.

Seriously, she did. They had cookies in the back for the workers, and she was going to go get me one. Not sure why, though, because she told the other guy to go to hell and that he was not getting a 'I voted' sticker, let alone a cookie. Thanks, tank-top shirt!!

The parking lot was jammed full of people, and two temporary parking dudes were hollering at the voters, making them nervous. "Move that Pinto!!" "Hey, you, drop that nut log!!" I love nut logs. I don't like Ford Pintos, though...

The polling place was right across from my house so I just walked across the street, some would even say I strolled across the street, like an anorexic super model, except I am male (mostly), thicker, and a bit uglier. Ahhhh.....one time this location does not suck.

Anyways, I hope to wake up tomorrow to a Bushless era looming on the horizon. It'll be a nice capper on what has been a testy year for yours truly.
